It all started at Flying Flags in Buellton—campfires crackling, neighbors who felt like old friends, and nights under a sky that reminded us what truly matters. (Hint: it wasn’t the distractions or the noise of daily life.) Sometimes we all need space to step back—to wander, to reset, to reconnect with that spark of wonder we had at the beginning.
At Highway West, we bring that spirit—plus a bit of fresh thinking—to everything we create. We’re here to spark curiosity, invite discovery, and make room for play.
We grew beyond Flying Flags because we wanted more people to feel that same sense of magic and welcome. Today, 18 (and counting) immersive, soul-filling stays—ranging from vintage motels and boutique hotels to upscale RV parks, historic lodges, cabins, resorts, and classic campgrounds—carry that spirit into new landscapes.
