Summer Beer Festivals - Bend Brewfest in Central Oregon
July 05, 2016
The Northwest is known for its craft beer and what better way to experience the all-encompassing brewery experience than by attending this year’s Bend Brewfest! From August 18 – 20, 2016, the event will take place at the Les Schwab Amphitheater, located in the Old Mill District alongside the Deschutes River in (you guessed it) Bend, OR.
Admission to the event is free but here are a few other things you should know before planning your visit:
A one-time purchase of a souvenir mug is required if you plan on participating in the beer tasting. The mug costs $20 and comes with 5 beverage tokens. Each token can be redeemed for a four-ounce taste.
Various food carts and vendors will be set up throughout the grounds. Keep in mind that each vendor is cash only. ATMs will be available for those who forget to bring cash.
Until 7:00 pm each evening, the event is all ages as long as each underage attendee is accompanied by a parent or guardian. After 7:00 pm, anyone under 21 years of age will be asked to leave the venue.
Dogs were allowed to attend past brew fests but beginning this year, pets will no longer be allowed to attend the event. This is to ensure the comfort of guests and their furry friends.
If you are curious about this year’s participating breweries, you can access the list here.
For those who want to plan ahead of time, the list allows you to search beers by style, color, ABV, and IBU. You can curate your entire taste journey before you arrive and make the most of your time!
