Things To Do In Salt Lake City – Thanksgiving Point
January 13, 2017
There is no shortage of attractions in Salt Lake City but Thanksgiving Point is one of the most fun-filled places that both locals and visitors enjoy. What makes Thanksgiving Point such a unique and popular destination is the variety of experiences it offers. Let’s take a look at what you can expect to find during your visit!
The Museum Of Natural Curiosity contains more than 400 interactive experiences that are ideal for the whole family. Guests can explore “ancient ruins” in their simulated rainforest, explore natural elements such as water, wind, and sun in their Water Works exhibit, or learn about geometric shapes in their Geometry Playground. Not only does the museum make learning fun but it also has fun activities for adults; the museum offers tight rope canopy tours! Visit http://www.thanksgivingpoint.org/experience/museum-of-natural-curiosity/ for more details.
Thanksgiving Point is also home to the Museum of Ancient Life. Much like Dinosaurland, the museum peaks the interests of paleontologists with 60 complete dinosaur skeletons on display and 50 hands-on exhibits including an erosion table and a quarry dig! Visit their page for more on their exhibits, events, and 3D movie screenings.
Looking for a more rustic experience? Farm Country is a real working farm located at Thanksgiving Point. You can interact with your favorite barnyard critters, take a pony or wagon ride, or milk a cow and learn about the bottling process. Check out http://www.thanksgivingpoint.org/experience/farm-country/ to learn more.
You can continue exploring outdoors by taking a stroll through the Ashton Gardens. Here, in this 55-acre oasis, you will find breathtaking gardens and lawns as well as the largest manmade waterfall in the entire western hemisphere. Click here to see what these gardens have to show you!
Not only does Thanksgiving point offer all of this but you can also play a round on their 200+ acre golf course, relax and rejuvenate in their on-site spa, or catch the latest blockbuster film in one of their megaplexes; the possibilities are endless!
