Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We will gladly provide a full refund for hotel rooms as long as the cancellation occurs by 6 p.m. the day before arrival. If less notice is provided, your deposit of the first night will be forfeited. A deposit equal to the first night’s stay will be collected at the time of all reservations.


  • What time is check in and check out?

    You may check in at 3:00 p.m. for all hotel rooms. Check out time is 11:00 a.m.

  • Can I get a late check out?

    The front desk may be able to arrange a late checkout, if available. In order to ensure availability for incoming guests, please plan prompt departures. You will be charged for a second night after 2:00 p.m.

  • Can I bring my pets to Sideways Inn?

    Well behaved pets are welcome at Sideways Inn and must be registered at the Front Desk upon arrival. No more than two (2) domestic pets are allowed per room and must be 35 lbs. or smaller. To help cover the furry clean-up, a one-time non-refundable pet cleaning fee of $50.00 will apply in addition to a refundable $100 damage deposit. Pets must be kept on a maximum 10 foot leash at all times and under the control of their owner and may not be left outside unattended. Guests are responsible to "clean up" after their pet. All pet droppings must be properly disposed of in a trash receptacle. Pets are prohibited in resort buildings and amenity areas. For the protection of, and in consideration of our guests, noisy, vicious or unruly pets are not allowed. Guests who are unable to control their pets must remove them from the premises or the animal may be taken by local animal control authorities. Additionally, exotic pets are strictly prohibited. Please be advised that guests should carry proof of pet’s current vaccinations.


  • What is the vehicle policy at Sideways Inn?

    There is complimentary parking for your vehicle. On-site vehicle maintenance is strictly prohibited.

  • How many people are included in the room reservation?

    Unless otherwise stated, 2 adult guests are included in the rate. Children under the age of 6 may stay free of charge. Additional guests over listed amount will cost $10 per person/per day unless under 6 years of age. Unless otherwise stated, there is a five guest maximum (including children) per room. Additional people/visitors must register in the Main Office.

  • What do I do if I lost an item?

    Management suggests that you keep your valuables locked up. Please report any lost or stolen items to the Main Office immediately.

  • When are quiet hours?

    Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. Please be courteous to other guests around you. Profanity or violence towards others and the Sideways Inn team will not be tolerated. Loud, objectionable noise or amplified music is not allowed at any time. Inconsiderate guests will be asked to leave.

  • How do I connect to the free WiFi?

    1. Turn on your computer or restart it if it is in standby.

    2. Enable your WiFi adapter and make sure it is turned on.

    3. Connect to the Highway West WiFi Network. You must create your own Username and Password before opening your browser.

    4. Open your browser (example: Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome).

    5. Note: If the welcome page does not appear, erase everything in the address bar and type: starttengointernet.com in the address bar.

    6. Follow on-screen instructions to register and access the internet.

    7. Log-in.

  • Where can I drink my "adult" beverages?

    Drinking alcohol outside your room, the bar, or conference center is prohibited. Alcohol is allowed at the pool area as long is as it is in a plastic container. Glass bottles or containers are stricly prohibited.
